Who is the most powerful homunculus

But even putting his political influence aside, Wrath manages some pretty impressive feats throughout the series. He's an incredibly skilled swordsman, and his ultimate eye enables him to pick up on the smallest details. Those two abilities combined make him nearly impossible to defeat in combat.

Wrath also can't be sensed like most of the other Homunculi can, something that gives him the element of surprise and allows him to disguise himself for so long. To start, Envy is capable of shape-shifting — an ability that allows them to trick plenty of their victims into trusting them before they kill them, including Maes Hughes. And if Envy's human form is difficult to contend with, the chimeric form they later reveal is even more sinister.

Appearing as a creature that resembles a dragon or dinosaur, Envy is able to crush anyone who gets in their path.

As this form is also made up of human souls, Envy is able to manipulate those souls to attack enemies as well. Of all the Homunculi, Envy has the most powers that are exclusive to them, and they use all of those abilities to their advantage with a good amount of success. Pride is the first Homunculus that Father created, and for most of the series, he poses as King Bradley's son in order to fool people into believing he's innocent and kind.

When he does reveal his powers, however, it becomes clear that he's as dangerous as they come — which explains why he's presented as Father's favorite child. Pride has the ability to manipulate shadows, expanding and shaping the darkness to do his bidding for him. And the shadows Pride can command can expand to cover an entire city if he desires. Even if there is a limit on how far Pride's darkness can spread, that's pretty impressive. Pride can also see and speak through the eyes that cover his shadows, making him almost omnipresent.

He can also mold the darkness to use it as a weapon, making it appear in the form of tentacles or sharpening it. Pride's powers are the most deceptive and the most dangerous in the series, and for that reason, he's definitely the most powerful of Father's Homunculi.

He also manages to survive the series in some form, which is more than the others can say. Father is the original Homunculus, and he was kept inside of a flask for years before Hohenheim freed him — with no idea what he was unleashing into the world.

When Father is released, he sets out on a mission to become stronger than God, an objective he nearly succeeds in completing. With it, his reaction speed and perceptive abilities increase by a huge amount, and he can instantly determine his enemies weakness.

And he did all this at the age of sixty years old. The only thing holding him back from being completely unstoppable, is the lack of any regenerative ability. Wrath is not just the most powerful Homunculus, but one of the most powerful characters in the entire show!

That said, Greed did pretty well against him all things considered. Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Its hard to rank them by order of strength as they fight a whole different range of characters. However, I believe that we can sort them into three tiers. God tier: Pride. Not only that, the good guys were so scared of him that they decided to trap him instead of facing him directly.

Against such a powerful group of enemies, anoy one the other homuculi will be obliterated instantly. Gluttony because he has by far the most powerful ability, and could even one shot homunculi. Lust, Sloth and Greed simply wouldn't stand a chance against the fake gate. Remember, Ling, Ed, Al and Mustang couldn't do anything but run against him. The only way to stand up against him is to be nimble and dodge his fake gate while simultaneously counter-attacking,or kill him before he can regenerate properly, something that Greed, Lust and Sloth simply cannot do.

Envy is hard to justify, for it's hard to tell how powerful his true form is. His losses due to Marcoh utilising Envy's weakness and Roy's powerful flame alchemy does not indicate he is particularly weak, but neither does his victory against Ed and Ling mean he is particularly strong for a homunculus, at least.

However, if you were to make true form envy fight against Lust, Greed, Sloth or even Wrath, you would expect envy to win. Lust couldn't stand up to envy's attacks while envy can take some of lust's attacks , greed most probably wouldn't be stand up against envy's size, sloth will lose due to size difference his speed means very little, as envy would not get pummeled and will immediately counterattack and wrath will lose due to endurance.

Also, high tier homunculi form a rock-papper-scissors style group. Therefore, I believe they must be grouped together. Low tier: Greed, Lust and sloth. These homunculi grouped here because not only are they weaker than the others, but also because, like the high tier group, it is impossible to say one of them is stronger than the other. Can the ultimate shield block the ultimate lance? Would Lust react in time to skewer Sloth or would she simply be pummeled by him?

Is sloth strong enough to at least damage Greed or would Greed's ultimate shield be able to protect him? Of course, there are flaws, like my assumption that Envy will beat greed.

Also, I'm not too sure how well Wrath do against Sloth. Wrath: Ultimate Eye, What he lacks in strength he makes up for in the most well rounded power, He can predict the movements of everything within his vision the only downside is it has a blind spot. Sloth: Underestimating sloth could be the last thing you do, at first appearance you think his size gives him strength but renders him sluggish but once motivated to move you wont know what hit you.

Greeling: What Greed lacked is now compensated by his new combat prowess. Pride: Offensive capability on par or even greater than Lust that isn't just a straight shot so it can be used for defense, the fact that he needs a shadow to use it really limits were he can fight.

Greed: Ultimate Shield, low offensive power but nobody can hurt you if you actually use it, vanity is his downfall. Envy: The shape shifting is nice but it's only really good for sneak attacks, and once he goes true form all he has is his size going for him.
